Watchmen yellow mask. I've read Watchmen a dozen times over the past 15 years and I've been anxiously awaiting this movie. I finally saw it tonight and it was such a disaster that it defies description. There were two worthwhile parts of the movie and they were the cut-scenes at the opening credits and that the movie finally ended after what felt like days. To say I'm a huge fan of the book and that I was excited to see the movie are both understatements. That being said, I was ready to walk out after the first hour. I won't go into detail on why it was so bad, except to say that the soundtrack, direction, plot, back-stories and writing were the worst I've ever seen. The makeup and CGI were laughable as well. This is by far the worst comic book movie I've ever seen, including the 1989 version of Punisher starring Dolph Lundgren. Hang up your spurs Zack Snyder, I've seen skidmarks with more depth than your movie.

I was one of those viewers that didn't read the comic book or whatever you call them these days (graphic novels? oh yeah, that's a good one. it's a damn comic book. Even if it costs 20 bucks.) Regardless, this movie Tanked with a capital "T." A confusing mess with retro gadgets and enough sepia tones to last a lifetime (please, no more)this flick was a waste of good money, talent etc. It was just awful! Worst of all, it was plain boring. Do not rent this unless you can't find any Ed Wood films. I really don't have much to say about this movie and IMDb is telling me that I didn't have enough lines in my review. Can I say "boring" like a thousand times or will they get mad.
